The reality of the past
The block of concrete you will see in the video is from an old, ruined Soviet building in Kaunas, known as the "ghost".
The architectural ruin, hanging in the liquid without sinking deeper, is like a symbol of collective memory.
It is an experiment combining the themes of memory and reality. How real is the past? For myself, I wonder and wonder at the same time. After all, the future is as fictitious as the past in the present moment. This idea leaves room for interpretation and infinity. If everything that comes out of this moment is fictitious, how can we believe or be sure that something real exists?
